Interpretation
Stairs cannot be cleared at once — they must be taken in order — so they symbolise stepwise progress. Climbing them strongly means a sequential rise such as a promotion or improving results, and stairs whose top is in view signal that the goal is close. Descending marks a phase of pulling back, and a broken flight means the next step is not yet prepared.
Readings by Situation
Climbing the stairs
A rise begins, step by step. Do not skip the stages.
Going down the stairs
A phase of stepping back. For now, holding is better.
Stairs that break off
The next stage is not ready. Fill it in first.
Advice
Keep the order. Trying to skip a stage is the largest risk right now.
What to Watch
Missing your footing warns of inadequate preparation; check the requirements of the next stage.
